Marianna Balistreri L.Ac, has been practicing in the Holistic health industry for 10 years. She originally studied at the Mueller School of Holistic Healing where she received her HHP in therapeutic massage training specializing in the Asian body therapies. Shortly after, she traveled to China to study at the Beijing Tuina Hospital. Here she was able to further her knowledge in Tuina, an ancient style of therapeutic Chinese massage. She attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she completed her Masters of Science, in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She participated in many of the externship opportunities including the UCSD Seniors Free Clinic and Rady’s Children’s Hospital where she gained real world experience treating patients of all ages and levels of relative health. She has also had opportunities to volunteer in the community. She assisted displaced fire victims during the San Diego county fires and discussed the value of TCM in modern medicine at the WHO conference in San Diego. About Us
Marianna has treated patients at the Alpine Creek family medicine and urgent care clinc and at the California Health Center, a holistic alternative integrative health clinic. She founded Right On Point Acupuncture in 2009. Marianna is committed to combining the ancient practice of Chinese medicine with modern techniques; she understands the value behind working with multiple modalities and believes that integrating specialties to serve the patients health care goals and needs is where the future of medicine is approaching.
